Unit G is the un-activated form og the Guyver. We do not know how it was activated though. It was never clearly stated of how the host activated them, but in the Real Live action movie, the host hit his head onto the control metal and then it was activated.
It is said in the Manga that there are 3 Units in each Creator Ship but then in the Real Live Action movie, we see that there are numerous units in each ship.
