Upon seeing Archanfel, he immediately knew that Archanfel was a superior being and hailed him as his master without thought.

After spending sometime with Archanfel, Archanfel told him htat he has decided to produce 12 other Zoalord and wanted Barcus to help him do so with Barcus as his first Zoalord.

Barcus has ever since searched the world for worthy beings to hold the Zoalord Crystals until he found the last one, Guyot.

My Comments
He is much more of a researcher and explorer than a fighter and seems to be the wisest of the Zoalords. ( Maybe becayse he looks old? )

Barcus is a very loyal subject to Archanfel and has never leaked Archanfel's secret out until in the later part of the series where he sensed something amiss and needed the support of his two most loyal Zoalord counter-parts
